The simulation code development platforms activity is focused on implementing the Arcane framework dedicated to the design of HPC simulation code. This framework offers innovative parallel programming concepts that accelerate the design of simulation code. Around this framework gravitate research activities on numerical precision or linear algebra in connection with the Applied Mathematics and High Performance Numerical Simulation team. This last activity gave birth to the Alien platform, which facilitates the use of multiple linear solvers within the same application. Finally, we also conduct upstream research on emerging programming models such as DSLs within the NabLab DSL.
